Migration Mostly Done

We’ve got just over 60 accounts that need their final merge done by hand, preferably by the account owner since some judgement calls may need to be made in terms of folder names and such. But, as of right now, all mail is hitting the new server.  We made some tweaks to adjust for the performance issues we saw today, and are hoping tomorrow’s festivities will be much faster. Here are the relevant links:

(Instructions on using the new mail service, including how to configure a plethora of clients).

(Instructions for the 60-odd accounts who still need some migration done).

Not mail related, but we rolled out the new print server this weekend, and brought the copiers online as printers.  This is one of the things that went swimmingly well on Saturday.  Later this week when I’ve had some time to breathe I’ll spin the yarns on how the weekend went, what went right, what went wrong, and the lessons learned.I’m going to call it a night right now.  Thanks again to everyone for being so understanding.  Our group is a service organization — we exist to help you and it really cuts us to the core when something we do doesn’t go right and ends up sapping productivity.Until tomorrow…
